Romanian food, dance and music to celebrate St. Mary at the Romanian Feast Fair
The Romanian Feast Fair (Festin Romanesc), an event which will celebrate Saint Mary’s Assumption, will be held in Sebastian Park, located in Bucharest’s district 5, between August 12 and August 15, 2011.
During this event, all visitors can try (and eventually buy) Romanian food. There will be cheese made of cow, sheep and goat milk, offered by producer anufacturers in Fundata, Brasov County, Jina Sibiului, Galati, Asau in Bacau County, and Topoloveni, Arges County, meat offered by Romanian producers from Suceava, Botosani, Galati, and Covasna, drinks, home-made bread and sweets, but also international food. Traditional Romanian clothes and objects can also be found at the fair.
Romanian Ion Popa and the Topoloveni folk dance ensemble will have two shows scheduled for Sunday and Monday, starting 14:00 hours.
The entrance at this event is free.
