Romanian national gas transport company Transgaz reported a net profit of around EUR 67.5 million (RON 283.9 million) in the first nine months of 2011, close to the profit reported in the same period in 2010, and total revenues of EUR 243 million (RON 1,025 million), according to the company’s report.

The company reported total expenses of EUR 163 million (RON 686 million) at September 30, 2011.

Transgaz posted a net profit down 4 percent in the first half of 2011, to EUR 61 million (RON 255 million), while the company’s turnover increased by 3 percent to EUR 170 million (RON 712 million).
