Romanian George Brailoiu gets award from Tiffin University for donating Emil Cioran's manuscripts to Romanian state

Tiffin University and the University of Bucharest have offered EUR 18,200 to reward George Brailoiu's gesture to donate the manuscripts of Emil Cioran to the Romanian state. In early April, the Romanian lawyer bought the entire batch of manuscripts of Romanian writer Emil Cioran, which were sold at an auction in Paris and then donated them to the Romanian state. He paid EUR 400,000 for the entire batch of documents.  “Mr Brailoiu gesture should set an example for all businessmen”, said Marius Mihailescu, managing partner Tiffin University.
