18 August 2011

The Romanian Government has recently approved the technical and economic indicators for the construction of 1,400 apartments for young people in Bucharest's District 2. The total investment amounts to around EUR 69 million, and the project is implemented through the National Housing Agency (ANL).

The financing of this investment will come from the state budget through the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, the local budget, and from other legally constituted sources.

Young people up to 35 in Romania can rent apartments in the ANL program, based on a scoring determined by various criteria. Submitted files are analysed by local councils across Romania.
