Romanian Govt. plans new hospitals, additional healthcare services
An additional package of healthcare services, not included in the basic package, along with five new regional hospitals and building and equipping the Iasi Regional Oncology Institute are some of the most important objectives the Romanian authorities assumed in the National Health Strategy for the next five years, reports local Economica.net.
The authorities’ plans also include detecting cancer in its early stages through organized screening. They also want to encourage organ donation and decrease tuberculosis prevalence and mortality, as well as to reduce the incidence of transmissible diseases such as hepatitis B and C.
