Romanian appointed head of Ericsson’s operations in Romania and Moldova
IT&C company Ericsson has appointed Romanian Dragos Mircea Rebegea as new Country Manager for Romania, the company announced. Rebegea is the first Romanian to take up this position and coordinate the company's local activities.
Moreover, Dragos Mircea Rebegea was also appointed responsible for Ericsson's sales teams in Romania and Moldova.
Rebegea has an experience of 21 years in the telecom industry, being part of the Ericsson team for the past 17 years. He held numerous leading positions in the South-Eastern Europe region in technical sales and general management, including Ericsson Albania Country Manager (2012-2015) and Key Account Manager for Telekom Romania.
Dragos Mircea Rebegea was born in Bucharest in 1971. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, and is a graduate of the ASEBUSS Executive MBA Program, Kenessaw State University, Atlanta.
Ericsson has been present in Romania for 23 years. Since 2007, the country has been hosting one of Ericsson's four global service centers (GSCs), with over 2,500 experts serving over 40 networks around the world.
