Romanian home decor retailer Vivre more than doubles turnover
Romanian online home decor retailer Vivre, currently active on the Romanian market and four other European markets, estimates a EUR 17 million turnover by the end of 2014, up 140% over the last year. Vivre posted a EUR 7 million turnover in 2013.
The increase is due to investments in the existing markets and continuous improvement in customer service. The bestselling products have been textiles, decorations and furniture, and the largest increase for 2015 is expected in the furniture segment.
The retailer reached 1.3 million subscribers, up from 700,000 at the end of 2013, and has monthly sales of some EUR 2.5 million.
“For next year we estimate double sales, based on continuing our investments on existing markets and expanding on new ones,” said Monica Cadogan, Vivre’s co-founder and general manager.
The online retailer has more than 130 employees and is also present in Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia and Poland.
