Romanian immigrants kill Italian politician
The Italian Police arrested on Sunday, January 25, three Romanian immigrants in Rome for robbing and killing Lucio Giacomoni, a local politician who was also a retired doctor.
The authorities also interrogated a Romanian woman involved in a love affair with the Italian politician, reports Corriere della Sera, cited by local Mediafax.
The three Romanians admitted to the facts, saying they stole EUR 2,000, a digital tablet, and an iPhone device.
They told investigators they were hoping to find around EUR 20,000 in the victim’s house, but they only found EUR 2,000 and two digital devices. They weren't planning to kill the Italian, only to rob the house, reports Mediafax.
