Romanian insurer grows revenues 6%
Romanian insurer Allianz-Tiriac recorded in the first quarter of the year EUR 61.6 million in revenues from general and life insurance, up 6% year-on-year.
It had an operating profit of EUR 3.3 million, up 39% compared to the same period last year.
The company has had positive results every quarter in the last two years, so it has recorded a stable growth tendency, said Remi Vrignaud, general director of Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari, cited by local Wall-street.ro.
The company increased its revenues by 4.1% on the general insurance segment, reaching gross written premiums of EUR 55.3 million. The property insurance grew by 12%, to EUR 10.5 million.
