Romanian IT company plans to hire 500 IT specialists
Romanian IT company Softvision wants to hire 500 IT specialists this year. It will thus reach a number of 2,000 employees in Romania and abroad.
The group is active in software outsourcing and consulting and only works with foreign clients, 90% of whom are from the US.
The company was founded in Cluj-Napoca, in 1998. Half of its current employees and some 80% of the new open positions are in Cluj, reports local Agerpres.
Softvision also has offices in Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara, and Baia Mare. It also has operations in the US, in Silicon Valley and Las Vegas.
The company wants to invest in its teams, as well as in its infrastructure. It also plans to attract strategic partnerships that will allow it to expand both on the local market, as well as in the US and Asia.
Softvision opened an office in Las Vegas at the end of 2015. The company had a turnover of EUR 10 million in 2014, according to official data from the Finance Ministry.
