Romanian IT&C retailer goes bankrupt and posts competitor's offers
Oktal.ro, one of the first IT&C online retailers in Romania, has gone bankrupt after it filed for insolvency in December last year.
The company’s debts will become public on February 18, when the company’s creditors will first meet. The online retailer will not resume its activities, according to data from the Insolvency Bulletin, cited by local Ziarul Fianciar.
The website Oktal.ro is currently showing the offers of the competitor Cel.ro. The two online companies have signed an agreement to do this, but Cel.ro has not acquired oktal.ro, sources close to the matter say.
The company posted a EUR 4.2 million turnover and a EUR 11,501 profit in 2013.
