Romanian Labour Minister: 2 mln state employees could get higher wages
About two million state employees could receive salary increases starting January 1, 2016, said the Labour Minister Rovana Plumb, cited by local Agerpres.
The revise of the unified wage law could trigger the increase.
Representatives of the Labor, Finance, Development and Administration Ministries have started working on this project through a task force. The salary classes currently overlap, after the minimum wage increased to RON 975 (EUR 219.3).
