Romanian language summer school running this year in Sibiu
Rolang the Bucharest -based language school is running a summer school in Sibiu offering Romanian classes at all levels from absolute beginners to advanced. The courses comprise 36 hours in total over two weeks between July 29 and August 9.
The classes will be at Sibiu's Lucian Blaga University in the Faculty of Journalism and include 3 hours a day of language lessons from Monday to Friday and 3 hours a week of immersion classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Audio CDs and exercise books are provided and participants will take a final test and receive a certificate for the course.
As well as the language lessons, students will participate in a range of extra-curricular activities, including museum visits, film screenings and concerts, in Sibiu – a former European Capital of Culture. There is also an optional trip to Sighișoara – a beautifully preserved medieval town.
The summer school offers a range of accommodation options, ranging from 2-star to 4-star hotels. Prices include everything except the Sighișoara trip and go from EUR 560 per person to EUR 980, depending on accommodation option chosen.
