Romanian Anca Buta Musat (in picture, right), partner of Musat & Asociatii law firm, was recently awarded with the International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice award, for her work in competition law. This is the Romanian lawyer’s third award, after the previous accolades received in 2010 and 2011.

Anca Buta Musat has coordinated the competition law practice for around 10 years, as partner of Musat & Asociatii. Major corporations have been among her recent clients, such as Orange, Gaz de France Suez Energy Romania, Roche Romania, Electrolux Romania, Generali Holding Vienna AG, Enel SpA, Belupo Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics and Sig Sauer GmbH & Co.  She has been a member of the Bucharest and Romanian Bar Associations since 2004.

Romanian law firm Musat & Asociatii is one of the largest law firms in the country, with over 100 lawyers and counselors. The firm was founded by Gheorghe Musat in early 1990s.

ILO was launched in 1998, while the Client Choice award was established seven years later, in 2005. The 2013 winners were chosen from more than 2,000 individual assessments received worldwide.
