Romanian Lottery gives EUR 140 mln prizes in 2013
The Romanian Lottery awarded a total of 6.6 million prizes in 2013, with a value of over RON 615 million (or some EUR 140 million).
The most popular game was Videoloterie, with over 3.9 million winnings, which totaled some RON 367 million (around EUR 83.2 million), according to the lottery.
Next popular game was Loto 6/49, where some 1.4 million prizes were awarded, with a total value of RON 179.8 million (EUR 40.6 million), followed by the Joker game with 558,000 winnings which totaled some RON 20 million (EUR 4.5 million), and Pariloto - 520,000 prizes.
Over 94,000 prizes were awarded in the Noroc Plus game, with a total value of RON 2.8 million (over EUR 648,000), while for the Super Noroc game, the lottery gave total prizes of RON 1.3 million (some EUR 313,000).
In 2012, the Romanian Lottery gave over 7.1 million prizes with a total value of EUR 145 million.
