Romanian managers expect moderate growth in all sectors until September

Managers in Romania estimate a moderate increase in industry, construction, trade and services sectors, a relative stability in the number of employees, and an increase in prices for the period July to September compared with the previous three months, according to a survey conducted by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

In the short-term survey of July 2011, managers in manufacturing forecast a moderate increase in production for the next three months, while the number of employees is expected to remain stable.

In the construction activity a moderate increase in production volume will be recorded, for the next three months, with a short term balance up 12 percent, and relative stability in the stock of contracts and orders, with a short term balance up 5 percent. In the retail sector managers estimate that the short term balance will increase by 9 percent. According to managers, selling prices will have a moderate growth trend. See the full INS report here (in Romanian).
