UPDATE July 2011: British singer Amy Winehouse found dead after canceling tour, including Romanian concert

British artist Amy Winehouse will sing in Bucharest in a concert set for August 15 on the Iolanda Balas Soter stadium in the Romanian capital city, according to the event organizers. Tickets for the concert will be available from April 26 and for four days they will be 20 percent discounted. Full ticket prices will stay between RON 130 and RON 350. Tickets for the concert will be available on www.eventim.ro.

Before the Bucharest concert, Amy Winehouse will play at the Sziget Festival in Hungary on August 13. The festival will take place between August 10 and 15. The Bucharest concert is yet to be announced on Amy's official website here.

Amy Winehouse, 28, is an English singer and song writer who performs various musical genres including R&B, soul and jazz. She is known to the public for her contralto voice and to media scandals involving substance abuse and mental health issues. She has canceled concerts in the past due to alcohol problems.
