The operating income of natural gas transporter Transgaz dropped by 11% in the first quarter of the year. It reached EUR 103.8 million.

The decrease was due to the lower amount of gas Transgaz transported. The company hasn’t specified by how much the delivered gas volume has decreased.

The transporter’s net profit went down by 12% to EUR 44.7 million.

The price of Transgaz shares, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, amounted to RON 269.45 (EUR 60.3) per title.
