Romanian investor Ovidiu Tender, owner of a group of companies working in different sectors, has expanded activities on the African continent, mainly on the exploration and exploitation of resources and services for mining, quarrying and construction sector, according to Mediafax newswire.

The main operations are held in Senegal, but the businessman is interested in other African countries as well. The project is managed by a consortium which includes Tender SA and Tender Africa. “Africa is the future”, said the businessman, who brought as arguments the global resource scarcity and deficiencies of exploration undertaken on this continent.

The group controlled by Tender aims primarily to maintain the activities undertaken this year in Romania and other European countries (like Serbia, Slovenia, Greece, Austria or Spain) and develop activities in Africa. The Tender Energy Group operates in areas like energy, oil and gas industry services, geological prospecting, road infrastructure, real estate, agriculture, tourism and aviation.
