Romanian paving materials producer expands local factory with EUR 1.5 mln investment
Romanian paving materials producer Symmetrica continues its investment plans by allocating EUR 1.5 million for a new production line at its factory in Sintereag, Bistrita-Nasaud county. The new production line will be placed in a 800 sqm hall and will be inaugurated next year, according to the company.
“30% of the EUR 1.5 million investment in the new line came from our own funds, while the rest was provided via bank loans,” said Sebastian Bobu, executive manager Symmetrica.
According to Bobu, the company will hire 12 people to work at the new production line, which will have a capacity of 2,000 meters of products per day (paving materials and curbs).
The company made total investments of EUR 24.5 million in the last 20 years. It currently owns five production units on the local market and posted a turnover of EUR 15.4 million in 2013.
