A team of experts from the European Union member states could come to Bucharest in the next weeks to make an expertise financed by the European Commission on recruiting and evaluating the local administrative staff, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos said on Friday.

They would draft procedures and criteria for recruiting and evaluating people who work in administration. The recruitment for the vacant positions in public administration should have clear, transparent criteria, Ciolos added, reports local Mediafax.

The public administration’s efficiency is an “essential element” for the Government to reach all the targets related to the European funds absorption.
