Excise duties will remain unchanged in 2015, according to the Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

“They remain as they were in 2014, not a single cent more” he said.

However, the system applied so far for calculating the excise duties would have led to a decrease in these taxes, reports local Digi24.

The Government was supposed to announce the calculation method and the value of excise duties for 2015 on October 1, but representatives of the Ministry of Public Finance have not yet announced the level of these taxes for next year.
