Romanian PM wants 37.5% of votes in first round of presidential elections
Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, who currently runs for president, said his main objective is to get 37.5% of the votes in the first ballot.
When asked who could be the PM if Ponta becomes the president, he said the Chief of Intelligence George Maior, as well as Senate president Calin Popescu Tariceanu – also a competitor in the presidential race, could qualify for the PM seat. Discussions with them and with others would take place after elections.
