Romanian Post opens first franchise in Bucharest
The state-owned Romanian Post CNPR and Domino Plaza have opened in Bucharest the first franchise of the national operator of postal services, reports local Agerpres. Thus, some 80,000 residents of the Tei area in Bucharest will be able to pay bills or send parcels from the same place where they do their shopping.
Three employees will work in the unit, from 9:00 to 21:00 every Monday to Saturday and between 9:00 and 17:30 on Sundays. They will provide all products and services in the post’s portfolio, except distribute pensions.
The estimated annual revenues of the Partener Domino postal unit are of some RON 1 million (some EUR 227,000), with an estimated profit of RON 78,000 (EUR 17,700) for the Romanian Post.
