Romanian President Klaus Iohannis will be in Brussels on Thursday, January 15, and Friday, January 16, this being the first external visit of his mandate.

While in Brussels, he will meet European Council president Donald Tusk, the president of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, and Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg.

Mihai Ungureanu, the President’s personal adviser, announced in early-January that Iohannis will make official visits to Brussels, Chisinau, Berlin and Paris in the first months of the year.
