Romanian president to meet British PM in London this month
Romania’s president Klaus Iohannis will have a meeting with British prime minister Theresa May in London, on November 14.
He received an invitation from the British PM and the meeting will take place at 10 Downing Street, local Hotnews.ro reported. On the same day, Iohannis will attend a reception on the occasion of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, at the Buckingham Palace, following an invitation from Queen Elisabeth II.
Britain will officially leave the European Union in March 2019, when Romania will hold the presidency of the EU Council.
