Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta is currently on an official visit to China between August 30 and September 3. He returns the visit after Chine PM Li Keqiang came to Romania in November 2013.Ponta will meet his Chinese counterpart, as well as the president of the Popular Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

Discussions topics will include strengthening the cooperation between Eastern – Europe and China, and the implementation of measures set in the Bucharest summit in 2013. The Romanian delegation will meet representatives of the main Chinese companies and banks with business in Romania, or interested in doing business in Romania.

Ponta will travel by high speed train to Tienjin, when he will visit the technological park.
