Romanian prosecutor arrested for taking one sheep as bribe
A Romanian prosecutor from the Directorate for Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism DIICOT in Tulcea county was arrested Wednesday, October 22, for failing to seize several animals, and for receiving in return one sheep as a bribe, according to judicial sources cited by local Mediafax.
Prosecutor Victor Grigoras was working on a case targeting economic crimes at an animal farm, and was supposed to confiscate some of the animals to recover the damages, but failed to do so, and in return he received a sheep as a bribe.
