Romanian restaurant chain opens new units in Algeria and US
Romanian restaurant chain SaladBox, developed by four local entrepreneurs, has already opened a new restaurant in Algeria and plans to open another two units there by the end of the year.
The company has also signed contracts to open the first restaurants in Miami, Florida, said Romanian entrepreneur Dan Isai, SaladBox CEO and founder, reports local Ziarul Financiar. The chain will also continue expanding on the local market, in cities like Deva, Piatra Neamt, Brasov, and Bucharest.
The restaurant network currently has 40 units in Romania, Hungary, Germany, and Algeria. Based on the number of units in Romania, SaladBox is the third largest fast food chain after McDonald’s and KFC.
The SaladBox restaurants sell healthy food, including fresh salads and soups.
