Romanian native Bogdan Bordieanu, a senior student at Wando High School in the US, achieved a perfect SAT score of 2400, according to The Post and Courier. “I hope it will help me in the Harvard application,” said Bogdan Bordieanu quoted by US publication.

His name will be added to the school's Wall of Fame, as Bogdan Bordieanu is only the second student in the history of the school to score a perfect SAT score, joining Paul Ryan Strickler, Class of 2001.

Bogdan Bordieanu’s parents, both maths teachers in Colleton County, said they expected “a good score for him, knowing him, how he prepares his homework every day and how he prepares for each exam.”

A perfect SAT score is a rare achievement. Of the 1.6 million students who took the tests, only 384 students achieved the maximum score of 2400, and no one else from South Carolina, according to the College Board, quoted by The Post and Courier.
