The Romanian short film 'Superman, Spiderman or Batman', directed by Tudor Giurgiu got the best short movie award at the KALIBER35 Munich International Short Film Festival. The director received Kodak film reels for his next project and Xpert-Design software. This is the not the film's first award. It was also recognized at the Aspen Shortfest in April (USA), where it got the award for the best short movie, which also makes it eligible for Oscar nominations in the Live Action Short Film section.

The film was also rewarded at the Valladolid International Film Festival, Spain, which earned it a spot among the 15 short films nominated.

The competition included 35 films from 25 countries between June 21 and 27. Films were divided into five sections, inspired by flavors. The Romanian movie was in the 'Sweet' category.

'Superman Spiderman or Batman' tells the story of five-year old who, together with his troubled father, hopes to save his mother, who suffers from a heart disease. The film was shot in Cluj – Napoca in Romania and features Romanian actors Bogdan Zsolt, Cornel Răileanu, Elena Ivanca, Ovidiu Crişan, Maria Seleş, Adriana Băilescu.

'Superman Spiderman or Batman' is a production of Libra Film Productions, co-financed by the National Cinema Center, Zenith Media and created together with Digital Cube.
