Romanian song of the week: Ce e dragostea, by Stefan Banica feat. Marius Moga
This week's Romanian song did grow on us, from being just one of the options for the column this week. It is called 'Ce e dragostea' (What is love) and is performed by Romanian pop singer Stefan Banica, featuring artist and composer Marius Moga.
The combination is a bit unusual and for sure unexpected. Stefan Banica (in picture), with a career spanning over the last 22 years, known as a singer, composer and actor, teamed up with the enfant terrible of Romania's new generation music Marius Moga, composer, producer and singer, known as the composer who's guaranteed to make singers successful.
The song itself is not striking at first, but it has a certain something that in the end gets to you. Both singers are popular in Romania, albeit with different categories of public. Stefan Banica fills in concert halls every year and is among the artists with the highest revenues in Romania, while Moga's songs seem to become over night hits. Let's see how this one will perform. Listen to the song below.
