This week's choice of a Romanian song started with a suggestion we received on the newsroom email. We liked it, so we decided to share it. Others liked it too, even though the song, called 'Crimson' from the band Yell Low is not one of those summer beats that will get instant airplay and become popular overnight.

It is definitely the sort of song that needs to be listened to a couple of times to catch its subtleties. It grows on you. Electronic music aficionados will appreciate the sound and those who just dig music in general will probably like to discover something different coming from a fresh band. The song has been getting some airplay from Radio Guerilla, which is known for discovering hip new  Romanian bands.

Yell Low is an electro-pop band that consists of Andi (keyboard, samples & FX) , Luiza (vocals) , Radu (bass) and Andrei (on stage guitar).
