This song was a surprise, a nice one. And it was also a surprise to learn that the band is made of teenagers. At 16, the five teenagers from the Black Sea shore city of Constanta who are part of the 13 Cuvinte band were part of a local High School band project.

And their sound is good, clean, as they are “trying their best when it comes to making music” as they confess.

Their music is indie and brit rock inspired, and this song, called Revo, seems to be popular on some radio stations, at home and abroad - as its lyrics are also in English.

The band is made of Mara Toader – Vocals, Ioana Dumitrescu – Guitar, Corina Panait - Keyboards/Backing Vocals, Andrei Popa – Drums and Laurentiu Tanase ( Kazy ) - Bass. We'll keep an eye (and ear) out for more from 13 Cuvinte (which means 13 Words).
