Romanian state companies fail to pay their health dues to the state
Ten state companies are among the top debtors to the healthcare budget, and together owe the state’s budget some EUR 157 million, according to Economica.net.
But most of this amount will never be recovered, as the debt of five of these companies will be wiped out: they are under special administration, or under liquidation.
So the state will only be able to recover some EUR 9 million of this amount. Among the debtors who failed to pay their dues to the healthcare budget are the Bucharest public Transport Company RATB, the forests administration company Romsilva, and the Oltenia energy complex.
