Romanian students win 9 medals at NetAware in Poland

Six Romanian master students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages​​, University of Bucharest, won 9 medals at the European intensive programme NetAware. They drafted an awareness campaign on social exclusion from a financial point of view.

“Between May 4 and May 17, 2014, six master students from the Culture and Language of the European Organizations programme, Faculty of Foreign Languages​​, University of Bucharest, won the most important awards at the European intensive programme NetAware, LLP-ERASMUS Intensive Programme, called Internet advanced promotional tools application for increasing awareness of social exclusions movement, held in Katowice, Poland,” reads a statement of the University of Bucharest.

The programme included lectures and workshops and the students had to draft and present reports using Google AdWords. The international teams, consisting of students, came from the Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Poland and Romania.

The University of Bucharest’s delegation won the following awards: 1st place - Daniela Ivan, Andrea Pap, Andreea Birsan (Romania won the phase on nations), 2nd place - Andreea Birsan (in international teams) and 3rd place - Alexandra Murgu, Aura Ionescu, Andrea Pap, Daniela Ivan, Adriana Dumitrascu.

The six students received certificates attesting their competence to use Google AdWords.
