Romanian tax agency sells dozens of cars, prices start at EUR 134
The Romanian tax agency ANAF plans to auction 30 cars that are now in the property of the state following confiscations, Profit.ro reported. The starting prices for these cars vary between RON 600 (some EUR 134) and RON 1,400 (EUR 312), and include VAT.
The cars have been mostly manufactured in the past 20 -30 years, and some of the models include a 1999 Dacia 1310, a 1988 VAZ, exported under the Lada brand, or BMW and Mercedes cars.
The auction is scheduled for May 11 at the ANAF headquarters in Suceava, in northern Romania. Both individuals and companies can participate, after enrolling in the auction and paying an auction participation warranty representing at least 10% of the starting price of the auction. Several other identification and fiscal documents are required as well.
The winner of the auction has to pay the price, minus the auction warranty, in at most 5 working days since the date of the auction.
