Over 4,200 people have applied for claiming the prize offered by the fiscal receipt lottery on April 14 and April 15 (until 10 am), according to Romania’s Tax Agency ANAF.

The lottery offers a total prize of EUR 226,000. The first draw took place earlier this week, on Monday. The winning receipts are the ones issued on February 7, with a value of RON 6.00 to RON 6.99.

In order to claim prizes, winners must submit the tax receipt in original at any local unit of Romania’s Tax Authority ANAF. The prize will be split among all winners.

Holders of winning tax receipts have 30 days to submit them. The lottery will be organized monthly, starting July, on the first Sunday after the 15th of each month.
