Romanian telecom shops network Arsis expects 10% increase in sales backed by online store
Romanian electronic goods retailer Arsis, the largest local partner of telecom group Vodafone, estimates a 10% increase in sales compared to last year, to some EUR 33 million. The company expects the newly launched online shop to contribute to this increase.
“We estimate that online retail will bring us a sales increase of about EUR 1 million for the October-December period. We count on frequent special deals, significant discounts and the demand for products for which we have exclusive vending deals,” said Daniel Florea, financial director for Arsis.
In the first half of 2014, Arsis posted a 4% increase in sales compared to the same period of last year, to EUR 13.1 million.
Arsis Trading operates the largest network of telecom shops, with a total of 160 outlets in Romania. The company recently launched a new online store. Arsis sells smartphones, tablets and accessories.
Last year, the company had about EUR 30 million in sales and a EUR 830,000 net profit. The company had 523 employees.
The company was founded in 1991 and is owned by Romanian entrepreneur Radu Mirea.
