Car maker Renault recently promoted a Romanian to marketing director within the group for several foreign markets. Mihai Bordeanu, who has been Renault's marketing director in Bucharest for the last four years, took the helm of the marketing division for UK, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta , and moved to the London headquarters in March 2014.

Bordeanu, 39, an Academy of Economic Studies graduate in Bucharest, has 16 years of experience in marketing, having worked with companies such as Reckitt Benckiser, Danone, Toyota, and Lexus.
