Romanian travel company Christian Tour to open airplane-like concept store and restaurant
Romanian tour operator Christian Tour will open a new concept restaurant in Bucharest's Old Town on September 1, where it already runs a Greek Tavern very close to its new office.
The new restaurant, with the interior shaped like an airplane passenger cabin, will serve drinks and food, as well as offer information about the company's travel offers. The new restaurant will adjoin the Greek tavern on Smardan street. The investment in this travel concept store was of EUR 15,000.
Christian Tour started working on the new concept restaurant eight months ago. The store/restaurant will have 63 seats and will serve complete meals. The Tavern opened at the beginning of June.
The company, one of the largest tourism companies in Romania, expects a turnover of EUR 35 million this year, with over 100,000 tourists served in 2012.
