Romanian tries slacklining at 20 meters up in the air

13 October 2014

A Romanian crossed the distance between two buildings in Timisoara, in Western Romania, on a narrow band just  2 cm wide, placed at a height of 20 meters. Slacklining, the extreme sport practiced by Romanian Flaviu Cernescu, is a practice in balance that typically uses nylon or polyester webbing tensioned between two anchor points. In Cernescu's case, the two anchor points were two buildings.

The demonstration will be included in a documentary that promotes tourist objectives in Romania’s Banat and Transylvania regions, according to local Digi24.
