Romanian TV station brings new international cooking show to replace Hell's Kitchen
Romanian TV station Antena 1 has bought the international cooking show format Game of Chefs, becoming the third television in the world to produce this show, after Reshet in Israel and Vox in Germany. The new show will replace Hell's Kitchen which lost the competition with Masterchef, the rival cooking show broadcasted by competitor PRO TV.
Game of Chefs brings together three top chefs who will compete to find the next generation of talents in the culinary area, reports A1.ro. The chefs who will fight against each other in the Romanian TV show are Florin Dumitrescu (middle), Sorin Bontea (left), and Catalin Scarlatescu (right) who were also the judges of Hell’s Kitchen. The three chefs became famous after they were the jurors in the first two local seasons ofMasterchef.
Each chef will have his own team and the participants will have to go through several tests and challenges on their way to perfection. The stakes are very high for the chefs as the actions of their teams’ members might affect their reputation. Each chef will fight for success, and their teams must get it for them.
The preselection for this show will be organized in Bucharest this weekend, at Romexpo.
