Romanian wine producer Cotnari estimates a growth of 6 percent in business for this year, up to EUR 26.5 million, compared with the last year’s turnover of EUR 25 million.

The company also expects to produce over 12 million kilograms of grapes on an area of ​​1,350 hectares of vineyards. The company's investments amounted this year to about EUR 6 million. Investments to modernize the wine cellar and to increase the storage capacity have also been completed.

Romanian Cotnari has 1,700 hectares of vineyards and makes 10 million wine bottles per year. The company currently has 350 employees, but their number could reach 1,000 in the peak period.
