Romanian wine producer Domeniile Ostrov ups sales by 20%, wants same pace by year-end
Romanian wine producer Domeniile Ostrov upped its sales by 20 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2013, when it exceeded EUR 2.2 million.
The producer managed to up its sales thanks for the HoReCa segment, after it launched a new series of wines, according to Romanian website Wall-street.ro.
Domeniile Ostrov made most of its sales in the retail segment – 70 percent, and hope to be able to keep the third quarter growth pace until the end of the year.
The company has 1,30 hectares of vineyards in the Dobrogea region, as well as 50 hectares of orchard and 200 hectares where it produces vegetables.
