Romanian woman claims she was stung by needle by unidentified man in Bucharest tram
An yet-unidentified man last week stung a young woman by needle in one of the trams in Bucharest, writes the Romanian media. The woman managed to take two pictures of the man and posted them online, together with the story.
“Today, January 5, 2012, at around 8:45, while commuting by tram 41, coming from Billa Drumul Taberei to Lujerului, my friend was pin pricked by a person not yet identified,” one of the victim’s friends wrote on an online forum. Romania media picked up the news and run the man's picture, hoping someone would recognize him.
The woman went to the “Matei Bals” Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Bucharest, where doctors collected some samples of blood for further analyses and gave her several prophylactic vaccines, on fears the needle carried infected blood.
According to the Romanian media, the unidentified man is around 40 years old, about 1,80 meters tall, wears eyeglasses, has short hair, and was wearing a light colored jacket when the incident happened.
