Romanians continue to trust the Church, but show least trust in Parliament, Government, Presidency

The Church continues to be the most trusted institution in Romania, with 62 percent of the respondents of a recent survey saying so, according to Agerpres.

Then came the Army, with 57 percent, according to the CSOP survey, requested and paid for by the Democratic Liberal Party PDL. The Police came third, with 40 percent. Mass Media were fourth, with 31 percent, but ahead of Justice – 27 percent.

The Parliament is among the least trusted – with only 12 percent of Romanians; the Government and the Presidency were at par, with a slightly better result – 14 percent.

The survey was carried out a sample of 1,055 people, and has an error margin of plus/minus 3 percentage points.
