Romanians eat less meat
Meat and meat products consumption in Romania has declined by 25 percent in the last five years, due to the lower purchasing power of Romanians, according to Ovidiu Dusleag, vicepresident of the Romanian Meat Association, quoted by Mediafax.
He also said that the average meat consumption in Romania is more than a quarter lower than the EU average of 85 kilograms per year.
