Romanians remain the largest community of immigrants in Spain
Romanians continue to be the largest community of immigrants in Spain, with 795,500 members, although the number dropped by 8.6 percent amidst the general decline of the Spanish population.
At January 1, 2014, Spain’s population was of 46.7 million inhabitants, a decrease of 0.9 percent compared to the year before, according to figures from the Spanish Institute of Statistics, cited by Mediafax.
According to official figures, foreigners represent 10.7 percent of Spain’s total population.
