Romanians sign almost 300,000 real estate deals by end-April
Romania saw almost 297,000 real estate transactions in the first four months of the year, up by more than 28,000 compared to the same period in 2015, reports local Profit.ro.
In April, the number of deals reached 85,000, down almost 5,000 compared to March. However, the number of transactions closed in April was higher compared to April 2015 by about 16,000.
Most real estate deals between January and April this year were concluded in Bucharest, namely some 28,800, followed by the Ilfov county (almost 16,200), and Timis county (over 14,600). Bistrita-Nasaud saw the fewest transactions during this period, namely almost 2,500.
